What's New This Year in Awana at Calvary?
1) ENDING TIME: 7:50 instead of 8:00
2) Bible Version for Memory Verses: NIV instead of NKJV
3) Bring a Friend: Your Friend will stay with you during Small Group Time instead of working on the Entrance Booklet the first night.
4) Theme Nights: Theme Nights will be about once a month instead of every week. Clubbers will be able to give input on which themes they want.
What is Awana?
Awana is a world-wide nonprofit ministry focused on providing Bible-based evangelism and discipleship solutions for ages 2-18. As the global leader in child and youth discipleship, Awana gives children the opportunity to know, love and serve Jesus, no matter their background.

- Bible-centered youth program for two-year-olds through high school.
- T&T, Sparks, & Cubbies meet from 6:30-8:00pm each Wednesday, September to May.

A typical night at Awana includes:
- Opening Ceremony

Awana runs on Wednesday nights 6:30pm-7:50pm September - April.
Awana Store
We started the "Awanazon" (Awana store in Amazon style) in 2022. Clubbers will get to spend up to 10 Awana bucks they have earned from reciting verses. They will be able to "order" items to be delivered the next week of Awana.
We typically have the Awanazon in October and February, and the full Awana store in December and April.
Sparks and T&T earn Awana bucks by reciting verese/completing sections and bringing friends.
Cubbies
Cubbies is is for kids aged 3-5 during the 2 years preceding kindergarten.
Cubbies learn about Jesus through songs, games, Bible lessons, crafts, Bible memory verse, and snacks!
Cubbies® nurtures the budding faith of preschoolers and celebrates their desire to explore all that God has created. This two year preschool ministry curriculum features exciting games, storytelling, puppet shows, and biblical teaching as well as take-home activities and tools.
Sparks
Kindergarten - 2nd Grade
Sparks® ignites a child’s curiosity about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ. This three year early elementary school ministry curriculum features exciting games, engaging activities, biblical teaching and media resources for kids and leaders.
Truth & Training
Grades 3-6
T&T® explores the concept of grace by focusing on the character and nature of God, identity of Christ, as well as the structure and format of the Bible. This four year upper elementary school ministry curriculum is created to ensure that kids and leaders connect through God's Word.
